Now that Angel Di Maria’s transfer to Manchester United has been completed, rumors have started pouring down involving Radamel Falcao with a move to Real Madrid as the Spanish side could use that cash injection to sign Falcao from As.Monaco.
Ac.Milan is another club that is being linked with Falcao as the Italian club sold Mario Balotelli to Liverpool and now they are looking around in the transfer market for possible replacements.
Arsene Wenger is also keen on signing an experienced attacker with a player that can perform alongside Olivier Giroud and Radamel Falcao is a top target for Arsenal. The Frenchman Olivier Giroud will be unavailable to play for around 3 months after fracturing his foot and now Wenger is scouting for players that can fill in the gap of Giroud.
As you can see, there are a number of clubs which are interested in signing the Colombian forward of As.Monaco but Real Madrid has an edge as they have the biggest budget available to spend and this could be the edge that the club needs to sign the highly rated attacker.
Radamel Falcao made a name for himself a few years ago when he performed as a player of Athletic Madrid where he managed to score 52 goals in 2 seasons for the Spanish club but ever since signing with As.Monaco, the Colombian has struggled trying to replicate his form. He has been troubled with a series of injuries but he is still far from being the same player he was some years ago.
If he continues struggling to score goals and display performances like he did back with Athletic Madrid, then As.Monaco could be willing to accept an offer for him and taking into consideration that Real Madrid are not afraid to splash out huge sums of money for their targets it could very well mean that Falcao might join Real Madrid maybe not in this season but in the near future.
