The disarmingly prolific Chad VanGaalen is at it again. The Calgary based musician, animator and visual artist has gathered a selection of his charmingly bizarre images and created a 16 page, 14 x 20 cm zine called Dark Piss. The Nieves publication is limited to 150 copies and can be viewed and purchased here. You can stream and download his song “Willow Tree” at the bottom of this post. The folks at Bad Day Magazine are pleased to announce their launch of Issue 7 in New York City. The jammy jam goes down tonite (04.23.10) at White Slab Palace, at 10pm. Music will be provided by Leo Fitzpatrick and Andrew Kuo. A limited edition offset litho poster by Ari Marcopoulous will be given away with copies purchased, so get there early. Fun!
